JuryVenire Waitlist Privacy Policy

Effective date: November 3, 2026

Who we are

JuryVenire LLC ("JuryVenire," "we," "us") is a Colorado limited liability company that is building JuryVenire, jury selection software for trial attorneys. This policy explains how we handle the information you give us when you join the JuryVenire beta waitlist.

Questions or requests: support@juryvenire.com.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist, you give us:

InformationRequired?
Full nameYes
Work email addressYes
Practice area (e.g. civil plaintiff, public defender)Yes
State where you practiceYes
Approximate jury trials per yearYes
Your consent to receive emails about the betaYes

We also record the date and time you signed up and whether you consented.

When you submit the form, our servers briefly process your device's IP address to block spam and repeated automated sign-ups. We use it only for that purpose and delete it automatically within 24 hours.

What we don't collect: the waitlist page uses no cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or third-party scripts. Fonts and all page content are served from our own site. Please don't include any case, client or juror information in the form; it doesn't ask for any.

How we use it

We use your information only to run the JuryVenire beta:

We don't use it for advertising, don't add you to any marketing list, and don't combine it with information from other sources.

Where it's stored and who can see it

Your waitlist information is stored in Amazon Web Services (AWS) data centers in the United States (Oregon region), in a database used only for the waitlist and kept separate from the JuryVenire app's data. It is encrypted when stored and when sent over the internet.

Only JuryVenire's founder can access it. Access to our AWS accounts requires two-factor sign-in, and access is recorded in an audit log.

Who we share it with

We never sell, rent or trade your information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.

We use two service providers that handle it only on our behalf:

ProviderWhat it does for us
Amazon Web ServicesHosts the waitlist page and database, and sends the sign-up notification email to our founder
Google WorkspaceOur email system, used when we write to you about the beta

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, such as in response to a valid subpoena or court order, or to protect our rights or the safety of others. If JuryVenire LLC is ever sold or merged, the waitlist could transfer to the new owner, who would remain bound by this policy for information already collected.

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist information until the beta ends, then delete it within 90 days, unless you've become a JuryVenire customer, in which case your account is governed by the app's own privacy policy.

If you ask us to delete your information sooner, we remove it from the waitlist database within 30 days. Our database keeps automatic backups for up to 35 days for disaster recovery, so a deleted record can remain in a backup until that backup expires; it isn't used or restored in the meantime.

Your choices

Email support@juryvenire.com at any time to:

We'll respond within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm the request from the email address you signed up with, so we don't act on someone else's behalf.

Security

We protect your information with encryption in storage and in transit, two-factor sign-in for all administrative access, audit logging, and a database separate from the JuryVenire app. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever affected your information, we would notify you as required by law.

Changes and contact

Changes: if we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how we use information you've already given us, we'll email you first.
